Melody & Expression: Our English Busking Highlights
The covered playground was transformed into a bustling hub of creativity and music during our recent English Busking sessions on 5th and 19th May. These fun-filled lunch hours featured an eclectic mix of our very own English Rock Band, talented student instrumentalists, and teachers coming together to perform popular English classics. The events drew massive crowds, fostering a wonderful sense of community and providing our students with a vibrant, low-stakes environment to immerse themselves in English outside the traditional classroom.

Innovation in Action: The New Face of Thursday Assemblies
Our Thursday English Morning Assemblies have reached new heights this term. By moving these sessions into the School Hall, we have unlocked the full potential of multimedia technology to deliver a richer learning experience. The atmosphere has been electric, highlighted by interactive quiz shows and creative skits that put students at the centre of the action. To reinforce this linguistic immersion, each session concludes with a whole-school idiom read-aloud, where students collectively practise thematically relevant and positive idioms. This holistic approach not only enhances English listening and speaking skills but also builds a positive, participatory campus culture that we look forward to carrying into the next school year.
